5. McWilliams Campground
Anyone who loves the wild would love McWilliams Campground, a spot about an hour away from Downtown Las Vegas. It's not too far from Mary Jane Falls, and there is an excellent hiking trail nearby. Campers in RV's as well as tent campers are all welcome here. Interested parties need to book slots in advance to be guaranteed a place. There are about 75 sites, and it gets very competitive during peak season, so slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
