A Star-Studded Roster Hits the Strip
Las Vegas is about to host one of the biggest showdowns in pro tennis — and no, it’s not happening in the desert sun. It’s happening under the bright lights of T-Mobile Arena as The MGM Slam Presented by Capital One returns on Sunday, March 1, 2026, serving up an elite field of eight world-class players and a cool $1 million prize pool.
And if you’re a tennis fan, this lineup is as stacked as it gets.
A Star-Studded Roster Hits the Strip
Leading the charge is ATP World No. 6 and top-ranked American Taylor Fritz, fresh off captaining Team World to a Laver Cup victory and continuing his steady climb as U.S. tennis’ top hope. He’s joined by a powerhouse mix of global talent:
-
Tommy Paul (USA) – World No. 20, Florida favorite, and former Aussie Open semifinalist
-
Casper Ruud (NOR) – Former World No. 2 and three-time Grand Slam finalist
-
Nick Kyrgios (AUS) – The lightning rod showman returning from injury and always worth the price of admission
-
Joao Fonseca (BRA) – The 19-year-old phenom with a monster forehand and major upside
-
Gael Monfils (FRA) – The human highlight reel entering his farewell season
-
Lorenzo Musetti (ITA) – Stylish, smooth, and currently No. 8 in the world
-
Alexander Bublik (KAZ) – Trick-shot king and the only player not named Alcaraz to beat Jannik Sinner in 2025
The event features a 10-point tiebreaker knockout format, so expect fast action, huge momentum swings, and zero room for mistakes. First ball hits at 4 p.m. PT.

Arguably the most entertaining wild card in the field. Eight titles, crazy shotmaking, and a career-best 2025 that included wins on all three surfaces.
A Growing Vegas Tradition
This is the third year MGM Resorts International brings The MGM Slam to Vegas, and they’ve made a habit of delivering epic matchups.
